Hi everyone! Welcome to the Disappear Here Book Blog! I am so excited to share my adventures with you as I explore new novels and re-read those I hold close to my heart. I am a lifelong bibliophile and, while I spent a small amount of time being a bit snobbish about my book choice, I make an effort to experience novels of all shapes, sizes, and genres. From Young Adult to Science Fiction, and even a little Romance, I’ve *tried* to read it all. In addition to being a regular consumer of literature for the past three decades, I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in English from UNC Charlotte and a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Georgetown University. Both experiences taught me so much and shaped who I am as a reader and a writer.

But the most important credential I hold, is that of “Mom.” My husband and I are currently venturing out on the greatest journey of all, raising a future dreamer and warrior. Our daughter is the light of everything we do, and getting to share my love of books with her has been the greatest part of it all. In addition to reviewing and recommending “big-kid” books, I’ll also share some of my daughter’s favorites (and mine).

I hope this will be a place of inspiration and meaningful discussion. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I’m so glad to finally be here. As we go on this journey together, please send me your questions, feedback, and book recommendations so I can make this blog the best it can be.
